Chicago Blackhawks Notes, Quotes 2008-11-20

--LW Patrick Kane turns 20 on Wednesday, and his teammates might be planning to surprise him. "Last year I had to skate a couple laps after practice," he said. "Your 20th isn't really a good birthday. You're not a teenager anymore, and you can't get into a bar. So it's nothing special."

--G Nikolai Khabibulin returned as the starter in goal after Cristobal Huet played in the previous game, a 6-5 overtime loss to San Jose. It was Khabibulin's 10th start. Huet has started seven times.

--D Brent Sopel, a minus player the last two games after sitting out two with an undisclosed injury, was scratched in favor of Matt Walker. Craig Adams also sat out.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "Going on the road is fun. It's when the guys are guys and you can just worry about hockey. There's a lot of laughter. It's really cool." -- LW Patrick Kane, looking ahead to the team's stretch of six straight road games.
